My polish was chosen to go in the StarKin shop!

Every now and then the owner of Star Kin, Ami, and I worked together to create a polish that I have visualized in my mind. This is one of those polishes. The name, Worble, was inspired by a spelling error I made on a previous post in which I reviewed the polish Warbler - named after the Gray Warbler. Through a combination of tiny handwriting and my not wearing glasses I misread it as Worble and so that polished was labelled as so on my blog for a few hours until someone pointed it out. After that I knew I had to have a polish called Worble. A gorgeous pastel teal with bright pink glitter. Without further ado;
And because I absolutely adore bottle shots;

This beauty may look incredibly dense glitter-wise,but it applies perfectly with just the right amount of glitter.

Three thin coats that applied like a dream, this is easily one of my all time favourite polishes.

Worble is available for sale through Ami's etsy store Star Kin, here for $14.

And just for kicks, here's an Outfit of the Day;

The jacket and pants can are both by a brand called Punk Rave, an absolute favourite of mine.

All of my love,
Zoe xo.

Star Kin Mushroom Cloud and an OOTD

Today I am going to show you a polish that is a personal favourite of mine, it is part of the duo the Judgement Day by Star Kin is in. Let me introduce, Mushroom Cloud:

And a close-up bottle shot just because I adore them so much:

Mushroom cloud is another custom that was made for me by the lovely Ami at Star Kin.
It's a glitter topper full of blacks, grays and whites in various sizes of square, hexagon and circle glitter.

Here, I'm wearing it over top of Essie Madison Ave-Hue, which was a gift from my darling Nicola (Seriously though, go check out her blog)

While you're at it, have a look at Star Kins creator, Ami's Blog.

I absolutely adore this polish, it is everything I wanted it to be. If you want a custom polish made for yourself you can contact Ami through her Etsy Store, she also has a gorgeous new dragon themed range that has just been released.

Now onto my Outfit of the day!

In this I'm wearing Tripp jeans and a SexPot Revenge hoodie.

Which, to be honest, I'm still shocked I managed to score that hoodie.

And just because I love my darling baby-girl, Alkatraz, so very much.

All my love,
Zoe xo.

StarKin Judgement Day and an OOTD

I'm fortunate enough (Thanks to Polish Addicts New Zealand) to be friends with the darling Ami of StarKin, and together we came up with this beauty. It's part of a duo we worked together one but you have to wait to see that one. Without further ado, I present to you Judgement Day;

And because, well, who doesn't love a close-up bottle shot?

Now onto the swatches, please bear in mind I was battling the sun and clouds when I took these.

As always with Ami's polishes, it applied like a dream with three thin coats.

This polish is exactly what I had in mind, I'd been daydreaming of a grey holo for quite some time. Being a custom it isn't available through her store but I'm sure if you asked her nicely she'd make one up for you.

I was inspired by my dear friend Nicola to do an outfit of the day, I highly recommend you check out her blog, she's an absolute darling.

That's my baby girl Alkatraz you can see in the background there, props to my Momma for being my photographer!

Just a hint, keep an eye on Starkin, she has new goodies being released soon!

All my love,
Zoe xo.

My darling little StarKins

I was lucky enough to get to review some StarKin polishes made by the wonderful Amy;
[Left to right: Specktacularrr, Warbler, Stick Shift]

First up we have Specktacularrr, I really don't think this needs much of a commentary, it is a polish that clearly lives up to it's name. On to the swatches!

It Glistens (See what I did there?), it gleams, it's like a gothic rainbow on my nails.

Next up we have what I like to call a nice palate cleanser, Warbler.

Is it Taupe? Is it Silver? We may never know, it shall remain one of the great mysteries of life.

Last, but certainly not least,we have the wonderful Stick Shift.

Check out the gold flakeys amongst all that shimmery goodness!

Application was an absolute breeze which each mani getting three thin coats. I'm very much looking forward to extending my StarKin collection in the future. If you'd like to purchase any of the above polishes or see what else they have available, they can be purchased through Amys Etsy Store [Click]
Be sure to like the StarKin facebook page to keep up to date with new releases.

All my love,
Zoe xo.
